The new Appin Skatepark can be found in Appen Park. The freshly laid concrete has an enclosed bowl and a large street-style plaza.

The bowl has two circular sections that all interconnect with a rectangle. There is a drain that makes for a reasonable gap to clear in the deep end of the bowl and some hips that join the sections together. We didn’t get to skate the bowl due to the precipitation, however, it looks like a lot of fun and not too challenging to find a line.

The street section has all the modern mellow street features that the skaters want to see.

The skatepark opened to the public in early 2020 and has been a popular asset to the community. The skatepark is still in great condition. The only noticeable wear and tear that we picked up on was the broken koala.

A super fun park that should be wrapped to boast its four-star rating. The skatepark also features a beautiful park, drink fountain and toilet facilities.
