Also commonly referred to as Webb Park Skatepark, located in the burbs of Wagga Wagga in Webb Park, is the Ashmont Skatepark.
The skateboard park once used to be a single dish, although the park has been renovated over the years to include reasonably large features that are better tailored to BMX’ers. At one end of the park is a rainbow-shaped curved quarter with steel coping.
We were surprised to discover a bed in the skate dish along with broken glass and general rubbish that our leaf blower couldn’t blow away. We were less surprised to see a burnt-out car in Webb Park that looked like it had been there for some time.
Surrounding the bed in the dish are a few street features, rails and a couple of DIY additions, including a sweet jump featured in pics below.
There was a group of 10-year-old kids that we found intimidating and made for a short visit.
Clean up your skatepark, Ashmont!
