Also referred to as Redlands Youth Plaza, Capalaba Skatepark can be found east of Brisbane CBD and would have been a premium park when it was initially constructed in 2011. The park was designed by Convic Skateparks and has a lot of elements including a stage for competitions.

The large street section contains ledges, hubbas, gaps, stairs, and many pads, along with a bunch unique shaped features that we haven’t seen anywhere else. Several larger street features surround the park’s circumference that would be better tailored to BMX’ers.

In the centre of the skatepark are the large 6-8ft feature skate bowl with hips and the familiar steel coping we love to grind.

The skatepark is under lights and has all the creature comforts you could wish for, including seats, toilets, shade and drinking water.
