Charnwood Bowl is one of Canberra’s oldest skateparks that was constructed in the late ’70s. The skate bowl is also one of ACT’s more iconic skateparks with its signature snake run. The snake run is showing its age and is certainly not the smoothest that we have come across. Nevertheless, it is an awesome novelty to skate and something that we have seen a revival for, with pumps tracks becoming more and more popular. The snake run spits you into a tight open bowl without coping as it was built before the tends. The skate bowl something else and worth a visit if you are in Canberra.
