The old-school Kempsey Skatepark keeps getting love, attention and upgrades that keep her relevant considering its vintage.
The concrete has been maintained and is in great condition, a little rough, however no serious cracks to trip up on. There were a few chalkies that we stumbled over, but nothing that a leaf blower or the old faithful broom can’t brush away.
Kempsey Skatepark has larger open flowing transitions around the perimeter with a few street objects in the middle. There is a small mellow many pad for street skaters, however, most of the features are on the larger side and would be more appealing for scooter froffers and BMX’ers.
The skatepark can be found on Belgrave St in The Rainbow Totem Park., just a short skate from the town centre of Kempsey.
