Kurri Kurri Skatepark, located in the heart of the town, is an initiative from the Cessnock City Council designed to offer local riders a dedicated space for wheeled sports. Over the years, the park has seen several upgrades, improving its appeal for BMX riders, skateboarders, and scooter enthusiasts alike.

The skatepark features a number of larger quarters arranged in a peculiar layout, giving riders a variety of ways to carve and flow through the park. With its larger transitions, it caters well to BMX riders and scooter rollers who enjoy hitting big ramps and exploring different lines.

One notable addition to the park is the snake run, which was built next to the main skatepark area. While the snake run has its charm, it seems to see limited use and might be seen as an underutilized feature, making some question the value of the investment. However, the skatepark itself remains a fun and engaging place for riders who prefer larger transitions.

Overall, Kurri Kurri Skatepark is a great facility for those who enjoy bigger features and smooth transitions.
