Policarpa Skatepark

At first glance, Policarpa Skatepark looks tiny and definitely lacks a bit of flow, rocking just a quarter, banks, and stairs. But once you look closer, the whole surrounding area is packed with extra ledges and stairs built specifically to back it up. Tucked just 15 minutes from downtown Bogotá in a neighborhood that’s technically part of the rougher side of town, it sits right at the edge of the entry zone, feels surprisingly safe, and brings a killer multipurpose setup to a hillside area starved for public space. Seeing Colombia back skate culture like this—not just throwing money at it, but actually dropping parks into prime spots—is seriously awesome.
