Ascot Vale Skatepark is a small concrete park that can be found behind Wingate Avenue Community Centre. This vintage Melbourne skatepark has a 5ft quarter with traditional steel coping that tapers off on either side. The other end of the park has its signature bank and in the middle we have a few street features. When we went to take the pictures, we discovered that the drainage needs improving, therefore we wouldn’t recommend skating after a solid downpour. The concrete is showing its age and is pretty coarse and cracking in a couple of areas, nevertheless still a rad place to skate.
