Bribie Island Skate Park & BMX Park in Bellara, Queensland is home to an old street style park that has been upgraded over the years to incorporate a new skate bowl that was designed and built by Concrete Skateparks. The skatepark is starting to show it’s age, the concrete is cracking similar to the wrinkles that old people get under their eyes. Despite the wear and tear of the park, it is still a super fun skatepark for the bowl froffers and street skaters. Being the only public skatepark on Bribie Island, there is not a heap of competition and a good chance you will bump into the only other skaters on the island. The transitions are mellow, the bowl is rad and it’s the only skatepark on the island. There are dirt jumps to one side of the skatepark for the BMX’ers to eat dirt and a basketball court for the street skaters to throw down their flat tricks. Skate or don’t on Bribie Island.
