Largs Skatepark in Maitland City Council, just a short drive inland from Newcastle, has undergone a complete transformation. The previously unremarkable concrete slab is now a state-of-the-art facility. The upgraded park boasts a pump/snake track, an enclosed bowl, and a large, smooth concrete surface dotted with a variety of mellow street features.
The fully enclosed skate bowl features a seamless concrete surface, mellow transitions, and the beloved steel coping, making it a skater’s dream. The pump track/snake run cleverly connects the park’s elements with its banked turns, humps, bumps, and berms, offering an exhilarating ride.
The street section is packed with smaller, mellow features, including banks, ledges, humps, rails, and much more. This revitalized skatepark is set to become a community favorite, offering something for skaters of all levels. A conventional 3 – 4 ft mini ramp also provides something for everyone.
