The Maroubra Skate Park can be found on the foreshore in Maroubra Park, right next to the Maroubra Life Saving Club. A spectacular location, with beach views and all the facilities and amenities you could wish for, including drink fountains, showers and toilets.
The skate park was first opened in the late 90s and has been a popular skatepark ever since. Designed by Chad Ford and constructed by our friends at Convic Skate Parks, Maroubra Skate Park has passed the test of time.
Maroubra is famous for its large double bowl. The concrete skate bowl has a mellower rectangle section that opens up to a circular deep end. The entire bowl is enclosed and copped with steel coping.
The street section is large and consumes most of the 1,100 concrete surfaces. There are a number of larger banks, quarters, rails and more. A unique street section with good flow.
An awesome park in a picturesque location.
