Newman Skate Park, in the heart of the Pilbara mining country, is a large park with plenty of space between a variety of elements. It has several benches and an interesting rail atop a peak. Several ramped inclines of various angles and a wide half bowl that is not very deep. Quite a bit of graffiti and looking a bit tired. There is some shade cloth at the sides but not over the actual park. It is well situated next to the school and opposite the cop shop!
This roving reporter thinks that perhaps BHP could come to the party and upgrade the park to match the high standard that Rio Tinto set in Tom Price……
