Bulleen Skate Bowl was one of the earliest skate bowls built in Melbourne. The bowl has recently been extended to put it back on the map and regain its relevance in Melbourne skate destinations. The extension was designed by Enlocus who engaged with the local old school skateboarders to help create a masterpiece out of a skatepark museum. The skatepark was constructed thanks to the hard working team at Concrete Skateparks and was re-opened in 2014. It is pretty obvious where they have made the upgrades to Bulleen Skate Bowl. The original downhill sausage shaped section has been left as everyone would remember, whilst the main focus on the extension was to the end of the bowl. They have also included a small street section with a couple of banks, a rail and a ledge. A great mix of Australian skateboarding history and modern skatepark design. Definitely worth checking out if you are ever in the area.

The skate bowl has since been renovated. Click the link below to check out pictures of the upgraded Bulleen Bowl Skatepark.
