Leopold Skatepark is a small concrete skatepark featuring a 4ft mini ramp that tapers off on each side forming banks. Leopold skatepark has been extended since it was originally constructed to include heaps more features and open up the skatable surface area. They have also constructed a shelter that provides some cover from the elements. The street section is free-flowing and very well laid out, comprising of stairs, rails, ledges, boxes and banks. There are street obstacles that you might overlook as they continue along the path and are becoming overgrown by neighbouring flora and fauna.
You can find Leopold Skatepark in Leopold Memorial Reserve opposite the McDonalds and can be spotted easily from the road. Overall a rad skatepark with one of the best, if not the best mini ramp in the Greater Geelong region. If you are in the area and have time to explore more skateparks in the area, check out our page on Bellarine Peninsula Skateparks.
