Monbulk Skatepark has a lot to offer for its size. Built by Convic Skateparks, the vintage skate spot has maintained its place in modern skating, however, is often overrun with two too many BMX’ers. Monbulk Skatepark was designed ahead of its time as it Features a rad 5 ft concrete mini ramp with traditional steel coping and heaps of street obstacles. The street section has a smaller 3 ft quarter, banks, rails, benches and heaps of ledges. Great flow throughout the entire park and is able to cater for several skaters at the same time.
Recently, the Yarra Ranges Council have added some shade a few more seats along with planting heaps of trees and bushes around the circumference of the skatepark, so you don’t feel like you are in a concrete jungle. Located right next to the football field in Monbulk Reserve, The Monbulk Skate & BMX Park is well worth the visit.
