Reservoir Mini Ramp features a 6ft steel mini ramp with 8ft vert extension. It is a super fun skate ramp with smooth transitions and is in immaculate condition after its restoration. The skatepark was originally only the mini ramp, however has been added to with a recently constructed street section and public basketball court. The street section has banks, manual pads, ledges, boxes, rails and the stand out up-down feature in the middle of the park comprising of more boxes, rails and banks. For more information, check out the Rollin Darebin Facebook page. Overall Reservoir Mini Ramp is a rad skate facility with ample seating for spectators, drinking fountains to keep the skater hydrated and features to appeal to skateboards, scooters and BMX riders alike. The City of Darebin have been at the forefront of preserving, restoring and building new skateparks including nearby Reservoir Skatepark that is very unique to say the least. It’s great to see local governments realising the advantage of having rad skate facilities and investing in them accordingly. Just a few kicks and pushes away from Keon Park Railway Station, it is very convenient to get to via Melbourne’s average public transport system.
