The new South Kempsey Pump Track, located at the South Kempsey Public Recreation Reserve, is now open to the public, offering a fantastic space for BMX enthusiasts and families. Situated near the Macleay River, this exciting addition to the community was opened by Kempsey Shire Mayor Leo Hauville.
Supported by a $459,987 contribution from the NSW Government, the track is part of a partnership between Kempsey Shire Council and the NSW Government, funded through the Places to Play Grant. The track features a smooth, asphalt surface with sweeping, banked turns, humps and bumps designed for speed, catering to riders of all levels.
With ample parking and shaded areas, the South Kempsey Pump Track provides a vibrant, active space for families to gather and enjoy outdoor recreation. This new facility not only supports physical activity but also promotes community health and well-being, creating a central hub for the South Kempsey region.
The tar pump track was designed and constructed by East Coast Mountain Trails and is waiting for you to hit it up.
