Located between the stunning South Newcastle Beach and towering cliff walls, South Newcastle Beach Skate Park offers breathtaking views of one of Newcastle’s most picturesque locations. Opened in 2024, this state-of-the-art facility is designed to accommodate skaters of all abilities, including wheelchair users, with special features to ensure accessibility.

The park’s centerpiece is a spacious, enclosed bowl with pool-style coping, a deep end and plenty of lines to choose from. It also includes a wheelchair-accessible entry, making it a fully inclusive space for all skaters. The lower section of the park extends into an open bowl, flowing into a vert wall ride and smooth, mellow transitions that lead into a dynamic street section.

Skateboarders can enjoy a variety of obstacles in the street section, including traditional coping on quarter pipes, ledges, rails, banks, and more.

Complete with ample lighting for nighttime sessions, shaded seating areas, drinking taps, and an adjacent public gym, South Newcastle Beach Skate Park combines premium skate facilities with stunning views. Whether you’re skating or simply enjoying the atmosphere, this park offers the best of Newcastle for every visitor.
