The New Coomera Skatepark has cemented its place among the best skateparks on the Gold Coast.
The skatepark features a uniquely shaped skate bowl with pool tiles and a drainage gap to keep clear of or skate over if you are game. There is a random hump in the middle of the bowl and a quarter ramp that can get in the way.
The rest of the skatepark is just as good, with an open-flow street section with quarters, banks, ledges, flat rails, down rails, a rainbow rail and stairs. Some of the transitions are super tight. Smooth concrete that is super fun to roll around on with a couple of humps to keep your momentum flowing in the right direction.
